Kalite Tercume, which continues its rapid growth and has secured its position as an industry leader in translation in Turkey, is in the process of increasing the number of its talented and experienced editors in parallel with its increasing number of clients. In this regard, we would like to invite you to join our team of freelance editors and would be happy to see you in our editor network.

As our corporate procedures require, we send all translations to editors. In projects involving files translated to English, as standard procedure, the editing is carried out by a native English-speaking editor, and the edited file is sent to the relevant translator for the proofreading phase. The translator reviews each sentence by checking the appropriateness of the revisions and finalizes the file by correcting potential semantic shifts that might have been caused by the editor’s lack of knowledge of Turkish, points that might have escaped their attention or parts should be revised in accordance with the editor’s comments before they finalize the text.

In projects involving files translated to English, we send the English file to an editor and ask them to indicate when they can complete the edited file. If the date indicated by the editor is appropriate, then we send a confirmation e-mail stating that they can proceed with the relevant job. After they deliver the file, we send them an e-mail confirming safe receipt. We respect your social and private life and do not insist on you working a project when you are busy. Moreover, we are tolerant of potential delays or discontinuations that occur on reasonable grounds, provided that we are informed about them in advance.
