These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website and services offered by Kalite Tercüme, operating under the brand Kalite Legal Translations.

  • “Client” means any individual or organization requesting translation, editing, interpreting, transcription, or related services.
  • “Website” refers to kalitetercume.com.tr/legal and any associated subpages or portals.
  • “Material” refers to documents, files, or data provided by the client for translation or processing.

3. Scope of Services

Kalite Legal provides specialized translation and linguistic services across all major legal fields.
We reserve the right to refuse any project that is unlawful, unethical, technically unfeasible, or outside our areas of expertise.

4. Quotations and Orders

All quotations are free and non-binding until confirmed by both parties in writing (via email or online confirmation).
An order is deemed accepted when the client receives written confirmation from Kalite Legal.

5. Pricing and Payment

Prices are determined by language pair, field of law, document complexity, delivery time, and certification requirements.
Unless otherwise agreed, payment is required prior to delivery for individual clients, and within agreed terms for corporate clients.
Invoices are issued in accordance with Turkish tax regulations.

6. Delivery and Deadlines

Deadlines are confirmed at the time of order. While Kalite Legal strives to meet all agreed delivery times, delays due to force majeure, technical issues, or late file delivery by the client are not our responsibility.
Deliveries are made electronically unless otherwise specified.

7. Confidentiality and Data Protection

All materials and client information are treated as strictly confidential.
Our translators, editors, and staff are bound by Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
We comply fully with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data (No. 6698) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

8. Intellectual Property Rights

All rights to the translated or edited material transfer to the client upon full payment.
However, Kalite Legal retains ownership of translation memories, terminology databases, and software tools developed internally.
The client guarantees that they hold the necessary rights to the source materials provided.

9. Liability and Limitations

Kalite Legal shall perform all services with due professional care and according to industry standards.
Our liability for any claim arising out of the services shall not exceed the total amount invoiced for the relevant project.
We are not responsible for indirect or consequential damages such as loss of profit or data.

10. Modifications and Cancellations

If the client modifies the project after confirmation, the delivery date and pricing may be revised.
If a confirmed project is canceled, the client will be billed for completed work and any costs incurred up to that point.

11. Changes to Terms

Kalite Tercüme reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time.
The latest version will always be available at https://kalitetercume.com.tr/legal/terms-of-use.
Continued use of the website or services after publication of the updated Terms constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.
Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts of Mersin, Türkiye.
