Kalite Tercume has been providing translation, editing (by native English-speaking editors), paraphrasing and transcription services for academics and researchers in universities in Turkey and across the world. We also offer editing services performed by native English-speaking editors for papers written directly in English. We also provide a Certificate of Editing (CoE), which may be required by the journal to which the relevant paper is to be sent, for all manuscripts we translate or edit.

1995
Our company was established based on an online study group called “Akademi Dil Hizmetleri” (Akademi Language Services).
2003
We expanded our freelance translator network to 40+ languages and began to serve clients from all over the world.
2009
We included Brand Name Analysis work in our fields of activity.
2010
We began to work with several computer-aided translation tools, including Trados, memoQ and Wordfast.
2012
We established Kalite Tercume.
We established the department of Information Technologies and Technical Support.
2013
We established our Project Management department.
We began to work with native English-speaking editors in academic translations.
We obtained our ISO 9001:2008 certificate.
We obtained our ISO/IEC 27001:2005 certificate.
We obtained our EN 15038:2006 certificate.
2014
We began to operate out of a big office in Mersin.
We established our Digital Advertising and Marketing department.
We established our HR department.
We established our Quality Control department and put our three-phase translation system into effect.
We began to issue Certificate of Editing documents for manuscripts edited by native speaking editors.
2015
We decided to become a brand in academic translation and created our Kalite Akademik Tercume brand.
We began to provide our freelance translators with online training for CAT tools through Distant Education.
We created our own Social Media (Facebook) group called Akademik Gündem.
We created our social media group called Kalite Tercüman Akademisi.
2016
We started basic level statistics training for our team within the scope of academic translation.
2017
We started our internship programs.
2018
We created our Kalite Editing brand and became globalized.
We switched to a 3-shift system compatible with world time zones.
2019
We started our Kalite Training Program
2020
We included Full-Stack Developers in our team and established a Web and Graphic Design department.
