Kalite Tercume does not use machine translation in any projects. This is because machine translation cannot achieve the quality that human translators have the capacity to achieve. Moreover, despite all the proofreading processes, machine translation will still not be able to reach an ideal quality. We neither prefer nor recommend the use of machine translation for Turkish or other languages belonging to the Ural-Altaic languages, as this language family is vastly different from the European languages into which we mostly translate, particularly in terms of syntax.
Even if terminology databases are added to machine translation tools, such artificial intelligence programs cannot grasp the relevant context. It is here where human intelligence and foresight must be involved in the process. This intelligence and foresight cannot be copied. We use applications prepared by our IT professionals to detect whether or not our translators use machine translation, and if it is discovered that they have, we immediately and directly terminate our collaboration with them. We do not tolerate our clients being victims of machine translation.
